Forum Lockdown « Result #1 on Sept 1, 2007, 12:14am »
ATTENTION!
This is the last post you will see made on this forum for a good long while. All our gaming needs have been moved to the new official Mutual Endeavors website. The new site is chock full of goodies that our community should find useful and entertaining. If you have not seen the previous bulletins concerning this, then you're a slacker and that's just too bad.
As of today, members will no longer be able to post to this forum. Members will no longer be able to reply to threads made on this forum. Any and all stories that have gone unfinished will be expected to be moved to our new forums on Mutual Endeavors dot org. If they are not moved, you will not be able to complete them, and this is your own fault.
While this old proboard is so much more prettier than our new one -- because Mel rocks all kinds of hard -- it was decided that it's better to have a fully integrated new forum that works with the new site. And it's true that the new forum has seen loads more activity than this old one here.
Those of you who check these things regularly, and are in contact with some of the members of this forum that I do not know, now would probably be a good time to spread the word around. Share the news that the proboard is closing shop and that Mutual Endeavors has moved shop to a bigger and better location. The mass mail I intend on sending out should help too.
Anyway. Until further notice, this here board is closed for business for good.

ALL boards have been disabled, EXCEPT FOR:
Staff Bulletins and OOC Discussion
I don't know why I left that second one enabled for posting, really. There might be some things that can be added to before the end of the month. Or edited. Not sure if I can edit things if the board's disabled, but just in case.

Default Skin Change « Result #3 on Aug 15, 2007, 7:34am »
Continuing along with our regularly scheduled programming, this forum will be closed for business by the end of the month. All boards will be locked down and unable to be posted to or commented to come the first of September. The plan, as everyone should well be aware of by now, is to transfer all the important posts from this forum to our new and improved board on Mutual Endeavors dot Org. Our new website, which is all kinds of wicked awesome.
Speaking of wicked awesome: assistant administrator Mel, also known as elf_fu, once upon a time made us this super spiffy skin for the proboard here. I liked it so much that I decided I wanted to set it up as the default skin for the future of this forum archive. As it will be an archive, and nothing more, come the first of September.
As a reminder, I don't plan on nuking this here proboard entirely. It will still be readable by any and all visitors. Apart form the discussion happening in the "I need your help" thread in this section, and this here announcement, there should be no more continued activity on this board in the future. Everything is moving to the site!
Just decided to explain another executive decision for any of you who may be going "wtf?? this isn't the skin I chose!" I changed the default to the M.E skin that Mel created. It's so much more prettier and ME worthy. The old black skin that most of you may be used to has been changed to the name of "Classic" and can be chosen in your "modify profile" options. If you don't remember how to do that, review some of our older posts.
